Dear --------,
First of all, thank you for the opportunity. I have enjoyed learning from you and being given the space and respect to manage my own work.
Second, I am leaving because I found a really great position with commensurate compensation and many more diverse learning opportunities for me.
However, I never would have started looking for a new position had I not been terrorized by --------'s behavior—(1) lying, (2) yelling, (3) silent treatment, (4) rude comments/making fun of my language and emails, (5) making harsh and inappropriate comments about employees' bodies and sexuality.
These behaviors are not only unprofessional, they are cruel. As I am getting ready to leave I have become increasingly worried about the workplace my fellow employees are having to endure. I would ask that you take a look at the environment that's been created and give it the same attention that you have given to the core of the business's operations. With that investment, I trust that the issues I have raised will no longer be plaguing your employees work life any longer.
Sincerely,
A coward who probably will not being sending this letter despite the consequences of not doing so.
