Cardboard Symmetry

A Mini Cooper (electric) in the parking lot disspassionately awaits a real investment—totaled and kept. A german his dog, his wife, all glistening high above the cove. An inquiry always a symbol.

Wherever you go, there you are.

A Nissan Leaf, a croissant, a beautiful salad that surprisingly tempts you, a conversation watched through commercial glass. Engaged, caring only about the "right" details.

Raised expectations. The amount of reading that went into this broadest of perspectives. Never nervous. Collected.

A Vegas gal in his front coat pocket, a woman on each side, feeling powerful, chest up, suited, ready for battle.

Warmed by a life spent on Hawaiian beaches, hardened by disappointment and failure.

Unfulfilled fantasies and so many weather patterns observed.
